These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and HilMail ("we", "our", or "us"). They apply to your use of the HilMail application, website, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

HilMail provides a unified email experience — personal inbox, disposable addresses, and custom domain email — built on a foundation of privacy and user control.

01Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We recommend reading both this document and our Privacy Policy before creating an account.

02Eligibility

You must meet the following requirements to use HilMail:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law

03Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

• Use a strong, unique password and keep it confidential
• Do not share your account credentials with anyone
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

04Acceptable Use

HilMail is built for legitimate personal and professional email use. You agree not to misuse the Service in any way that harms others or violates applicable law.

05Subscriptions & Billing

HilMail offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans unlock additional features and storage.

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings or your payment provider
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law
• Prices may change with reasonable notice provided in advance

06Payment Processing

Payment transactions are handled entirely by trusted third-party payment processors. HilMail does not store your credit card or full payment details on its own servers.

Each processor operates under its own privacy and security policies. HilMail receives only a payment confirmation — your financial data never touches our systems.

07Intellectual Property

All rights, titles, and interests in the HilMail platform — including its software, design, branding, logos, and underlying technology — remain the exclusive property of HilMail.

08Service Availability

HilMail strives to maintain reliable, continuous service availability. We take uptime seriously and invest in robust infrastructure to support it.

However, the Service may occasionally experience interruptions due to:

• Scheduled maintenance and infrastructure upgrades
• Unexpected technical issues or outages
• External service dependencies outside our control
• Force majeure events

09Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HilMail shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

This includes, but is not limited to, liability for:

• Loss of data due to technical failures or user error
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Security breaches beyond our reasonable control
• Damages caused by third-party services we integrate with
• Misuse of the platform by other users

10Termination

HilMail may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• Your account is used for abuse, spam, or illegal activity
• Your account poses a security risk to the platform or other users
• We are required to do so by law

Upon termination, your access to the Service and associated data will be removed. Visit our account deletion page to delete your account at any time.

11Jurisdiction & Governing Law

HilMail infrastructure is hosted in secure data centers located in the Netherlands, European Union.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands.

12Changes to Terms

HilMail may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, or operational needs.

• Updated Terms will be published with a revised "Last Updated" date
• Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email
• Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance
